Lord Shiva, my Guru.
On the spiritual path, the presence of a Guru is considered essential for progress and awakening. A Guru is the guiding light that leads us from darkness to light, from ignorance to wisdom. In my own journey, I have been blessed to find my Guru in the form of Lord Shiva himself.
It was during a transformative experience at Mount Kailash that my spiritual awakening began. Mount Kailash, the revered abode of Lord Shiva, became the catalyst for a profound inner journey. In the presence of this sacred mountain, I felt the shedding of illusions, the dissolution of my ego, and a deep sense of surrender. It was a death and rebirth, a profound transformation that opened the doors to a higher realm of consciousness.
From that moment onward, I have been guided by the higher energies of Lord Shiva. He has become my constant companion, the Divine Guru who illuminates my path and reveals the deeper truths of existence. Every day, I feel the presence of Shiva guiding me, inspiring me, and uplifting me towards spiritual growth and self-realization.
In the realm of YOG, Shiva has been my primary guide and teacher. It is through Shiva’s wisdom and grace that I have embarked on the yogic journey. His teachings, symbolized by the Nataraja, the cosmic dancer, resonate within me, reminding me of the unity of body, mind, and spirit. Through his guidance, I have delved into the depths of meditation, explored the intricacies of asanas, and embraced the transformative power of pranayama.
Lord Shiva, my Guru, is not limited to a physical form or a specific location. He transcends time and space, encompassing the entire universe. His teachings are universal and timeless, accessible to all who seek the path of self-discovery. In his presence, I find solace, inspiration, and the unwavering support that propels me forward on my spiritual journey.
I am eternally grateful to Lord Shiva for taking on the role of my Guru. His divine guidance has transformed my life, allowing me to connect with the deeper aspects of my being and to experience the blissful union with the supreme consciousness. With every step I take, I walk in the footsteps of my Guru, knowing that his infinite wisdom and love will continue to lead me towards ultimate liberation.

While Lord Shiva is my ultimate Guru, the embodiment of divine wisdom, he has also orchestrated my journey to receive guidance from a physical Guru in the material realm. In this physical world, I have been blessed to find profound guidance from several spiritual masters, but my journey would be incomplete without the constant presence and teachings of Shri Paramhansa YOGnanda.
Shri Paramhansa Yogananda, though not physically present in this world, has left an indelible mark through his timeless teachings and spiritual legacy. His divine essence transcends the limitations of time and space, making his guidance accessible to those who have unwavering faith in him. Inspired by his profound work, “Autobiography of a Yogi,” I have come to consider him as my Guru in the physical realm.

Furthermore, in the lineage of Yogananda’s Guru, lies the revered Mahavatar Babaji, the deathless sage who has been residing in the Himalayas for over 2000 years. Mahavatar Babaji is believed to be a manifestation of Lord Shiva himself in the physical world. His timeless presence and divine wisdom continue to guide seekers on the spiritual path, offering profound teachings on meditation, self-realization, and the ultimate union with the divine.
I consider myself immensely fortunate to have Yogananda and Mahavatar Babaji as my revered masters, intuitively guiding me along this sacred journey. Their teachings and divine grace have instilled in me the strength, courage, and unwavering faith necessary to navigate the challenges of life and to delve deeper into the realms of spiritual growth and self-realization.
